This is an upright piano that my mother in law played as a little girl. She is in her mid-80s now and they did not buy it new back then. Manufactered in Chicago, the name is Schmidt, or something like that. She had the piano completely restored a few years back, including new keys and finish. She spent somewhere around $5000.00 for the restoration. The thing is beautiful when clean! In all the recent moving some repair work will need to be done to one of the short feet under the soundboard. The tall legs are fine. Sorry, no bench or stool. It is more of a beautiful piece of furniture rather than modern playing piano...that is, it plays like an old piano. Even if you dismantled it the wood could be used for some gorgeous pieces.
